Any thing overdone is annoying. Yes, this also means that over sharing any sort of information on social networking sites like Facebook, My Space or Twitter is annoying. People tend to annoy you in some way or the other through their Facebook updates like posting a click of the sandwich you are about to have. So what if you are having a sandwich? What so big deal? One doesn’t need to know what you are eating or not eating. Things like these are much more than you can possibly think. A recent study stated that constant posting on your relationship could be strongly related to self esteem but in a bad way.

A research was conducted at the Albright College. They surveyed the Facebook users who are in relationship. They further went on surveying about their motivations for using Facebook along with the relationship satisfaction and personality traits. So it was then observed that couples who were extremely happy and satisfied with their relationship were more likely to post their pictures or comment on Facebook as compared to the ones who were not that satisfied in their relationship.

The study further went on stating that doing so shows a higher degree of relationship contingent self esteem. This meant that the person’s confidence is strongly tied up with the relationship status. Some how some people fail to understand that over sharing any information on social networking sites could be a root cause to damage any relationship.

Another study revealed that one of the reasons why a couple shares on Facebook about it relationship is that they try to make others and themselves to some extend feel more secure about the relationship. But then if you are completely depending to boost your self esteem based on the likes and comments and posts, it is obvious that you will fall out of the relationship. Instead what you can do is focus on other things like what you like or love to do everyday in general, nothing specific, again.
