Celebrate this Halloween with your little ones

Halloween party ideas for kids
Halloween is entirely different for the kids and for the grown ups. For the kids, Halloween is trick or treat for the ultimate quest of candies but for the grown ups, it means another late night party. But these days, many parents keep their kids home during the holiday concluding that it is unsafe for the kids. Sadly, the kids are upset and you certainly do not want to see you wee devil sad on Halloween now, do you? So here are few tricks in which you have a safe yet fun Halloween with your little ones.

Throwing a party is one way on which you can have fun as well as keep your kid at home. Let your kids invite their friends. Ensure that you do not run out on soft drinks, food and very importantly, candies. The best way to see your kid happy is to get him involved in the whole arrangement. Entertain them and the guests with funky Halloween treats besides the regular candies. There are many cup cake recipes for Halloween online.

Add more life to your kids Halloween party by adding nice wacky Halloween decorations. Make sure that whatever decorations you do, it should be age appropriate. You can use colorful craft papers, water color paints, pumpkins to make the decorations. There are online tutorials available on Halloween decorations. And of course, play games. Don’t choose difficult or boring games that will dull the Halloween eve. Instead go for some board games or whatever the kids like these days, besides video games. Award the winner with funky Halloween prices. Hit the nearest store. They will be stocked with Halloween stuff.

If you do not want games, make it a movie night. Turn off the lights, just let a few pumpkin heads stay up and put on some not so scary movie. Microwave some popcorns or order pizza. Watch movies like Great Pumpkin, Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town. Since you and your kids are going to be having a lot of free time, make it a tell tale night. Get the kids in a circle, turn the lights low and ask each kid to narrate a horror story that they have heard of before. Do give away price.
